The Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC) has implemented new bus services between Ahmedabad Gitamandir ST Stand and Diu ST Bus Depot on daily basis. The total distance between Ahmedabad and Diu is around 370 KM in length and it takes around 8 hours 30 minutes to cover the route. If you are planning to travel during morning or evening time departure from Ahmedabad, keep in mind the heavy traffic and rush along S.G.Highway and hence there could be a potential delay of about 30 minutes in reaching Diu destination. Similar is the case, when you’re returning from Diu and approaching Ahmedabad.
All the recent COVID-19 protocols are being followed by the state transport buses and hence no restrictions on inter-district travel has been implemented. Please arrive at Ahmedabad Geetamandir ST Stand atleast 15-20 minutes prior to boarding of your buses, to avoid last minute rush.

These are relatively fast travelling buses and operate during the times of day from 5 AM in the morning till 8 PM in the evening. The rush on these buses are relatively less as compared to other buses due to local traffic.

These are luxury buses providing comfortable passenger travel in this route. Though the fares are high, however you get the best comfort while travelling and faster reaching times.

These are seater options provided by GSRTC for lesser fares and more comfort while travelling. These buses are available during day time.
- Baroda Central ST Stand – Diu ST Depot Volvo AC Bus (Ahmedabad Departure Time: 09:00 AM and arrival at Diu Bus Station: 17:10 PM)
All of these buses either go via Bhavnagar, Mehsana, Gandhinagar, Dholera, Mahuva and Una during journey.
